In their search to grab attention somehow and at any cost, many lose all balance of mind. Look at the incredible number of ridiculous videos and reels online. Apparently, smart people think nothing of throwing modesty, caution, good sense and wisdom to the winds…just do as ro grab a few filthy eyeballs.
Grabbing the attention of those who have never really learnt to value themselves or the need to empower themselves in meaningful ways will lead to less than desirable results.
Instead, one must develop the skills and ability to grab the attention of those who’ve mastered their own minds and lives. Such people will help bring great fulfillment to all concerned.
Attention is a great resource and even babies often crave attention. Often, we notice little children trying to grab attention by throwing tantrums, indulging in misbehaviour or some kind of negative action.
However, to try and grab attention without giving anything valuable in return is to fool people. Even children have seemed to master this evil art.
Most unthinking common people never learn the value of their attention and they use it in wasteful ways…
Attention is a very powerful and valuable resource and it must be used sensibly…like we use money! If anything, attention is actually far more valuable than money… it’s the steering that directs where one’s energy goes…
When one steers their attention in ridiculous ways to things that don’t really enrich their lives, they act irresponsibly and foolishly!
A foolish person is usually endowed with a mind that works against their interests!
Look inwards and see how true this is for you.
If it applies to you, resolve and take steps to use your attention in ways that enrich, empower and benefit you.
Life is short! And the total amount of attention available is limited! Use it well!
