The two earlier pieces and accompanying videos focused on Muladhara and Swadhisthana for the first two days of Navaratras.
As mentioned earlier, Navaratras are a time to worship and celebrate Shakti, the feminine form of divinity. More importantly, it’s a time to manifest these energies within us.
By doing certain adhyatmic practices one gets help from the universe to manifest these forms of Shakti within. We use the power of breath which is the main source of prana or life force and it brings in Shakti that manifests itself in different ways.
When Shakti activates Manipura it manifests as power or will power and imbues the one blessed with the ability to influence their society, surroundings, groups etc. When this Shakti is used in the right way, instead of merely using it to massage or grow their ego and lording it over others, one gets even greater blessings.
To activate the Manipura with the power of breath and Shakti, as before, sit in a relaxed posture with back straight. Allow belly breathing to happen and activate the sushumna with Hanuman Master Breath. Alternatively, practice nadi shodhan/anulom vilom for 15-20 cycles along with belly breathing.
As you begin to relax deeper and the breath becomes easier and subtler, continue moving your breath in and out.
As you get into the flow and you feel meditative, bring your attention to the nostrils and observe the equal flow of breath through both. For a few minutes allow the breath to activate Muladhara and Swadhisthana as in the first two days.
Now, bring your attention to the Manipura and visualize a yellow or golden colored 10-petaled lotus.
As you breathe through both nostrils, let them bring their energy directly into the Manipura (Solar Plexus) chakra area from two sides like in an electrical appliance.
Continue to stay as relaxed as possible, belly breathing, slowly channeling electrical energy towards the Manipura.
If you are deeply relaxed and at ease, you will quickly begin to feel the energy in your system…it might also result in some energy effect on the genitals. Don’t let it bother you…continue as long as you are comfortable and willing…
Let the in-breath bring an electrical charge through the Ida and Pingala to the Manipura (Solar Plexus) even as the sushumna channels the out-breath up the spine, as in the other two chakras.
Notice the heat and sensations that build up and continue to channel them up the spine…
If your energy channels are open you’ll notice the effects within minutes and a few cycles of breath…
Doing the day – 1 and 2 practice for a few minutes and combining it with the Day – 3 breathwork will yield good results.
Gently pull up the perineum (Muladhara) as you do these practices here as well.
Naturally, these practices will give immediate results to those who have worked on their breath channels and are familiar with the pathways, as explained in SWA-TANTRA Kriya. Others will notice some effects almost immediately if their nadis are relatively open and accessible.
Notice the pleasantness and other sensations like heat or a crawling sensation to get a sense of activation…
As the Manipura chakra is activated you’ll notice improvements in personal power and will power…instead of wasting or leaking the energy on trying to use it over others in negative ways, it is best to keep channeling it up the spine here as well for best long-term results…
Write in your experiences and notice how your life is changing with the blessings of the Goddesses…
