Q. How do I transmute sexual energy into ojas?
A. Unless kundalini energy and its powerful sexual expression are contained and channeled up the spine, it cannot be transmuted to ojas.
If the energy is allowed to remain in the lower chakras it will create disturbances and imbalances. Therefore, you see many spiritual aspirants hoping to be evolving, basically just lying to themselves about their spiritual progress, power etc. Usually, their energy is leaked or wasted in ‘useless’ pursuits and they manage only to delude themselves and others around them…
When the contained energy is channeled up the spine via the sushumna, it slowly starts transmuting to ojas. Ojas increases one’s immunity and adds a certain glow and aura around the genuine practitioner…
It’s an important and integral part of the spiritual journey to overcome one’s compulsiveness and dependence on these temporary physical pleasures etc if the flesh. Being overly concerned or obsessed about the physical body and its needs or the mental body and its attractions obviously lead to a trap. That flows or even stops one’s spiritual progress.
It’s when the energy body is optimised and used to break through the barriers and hindrances of the annamaya and manomaya kosha, that one can access the vijnanamaya kosha.
The vijnanamaya (knowledge) body is capable of being easily inspired and opens itself to clear and powerful insights that enable one to see much better and clearer. That’s when making good choices becomes easy and one’s progress speeds up…
