Forces of Evil Must Be Overcome – The Atman Needs Protection
While we live here on earth, naturally life seems important…and it is, indeed! It might seem like the most valuable thing but there is probably one thing that is a lot more valuable…Atman!
How many among us are able to see the value of Atman? It is the self…the true self.
Experience of the Atman is neither easy nor common but there’s no reason to not experience it and know it.
In moments of deep aware silence, sometimes we may become aware of something that’s almost watching us…it’s us yet not quite us! It’s within yet not quite within…
This watcher, this awareness, this witness is that which makes life possible in our beings, in whose presence life happens and continues.
We (our minds) sometimes becomes aware of this witness and then we experience a strange oneness that includes us but is not limited to us, to what we think of as being our self.
Admittedly, it may not happen to all…but something like this does happen to some.
Anyway, this Atman or self or our true self is definitely more valuable than even our life.
Some of us may have read stories about how an evil presence lures us with offers of worldly gifts in return for…our souls!
It’s an experience that definitely some have experienced at some point in their lives.
Some are tempted and they make a deal. But it’s such a stupid deal…to get something for a short duration and to lose something for an eternity…or thereabouts!
These all point to the fact that there is something immensely valuable…it’s our Atman, our Awareness!
This extremely valuable ‘gift’ is far more valuable than this temporary life of some decades.
However, this may seem to be the case to some and to many!
If it is something that appeals to you, you know that doing something to care for this Atman is your greatest duty to yourself…and it’s more important than life itself. If in the process of doing something for the care of Self, one loses this life…so be it!
In my understanding, using this life to raise our consciousness is our greatest responsibility to ourselves…and to those around. By doing something to raise ourselves and our consciousness, we can impact those around us…
In a world where forces of evil are aligning to destroy anything and anyone that does not submit themselves to these forces, many are unwittingly falling prey to their ways…
But not all are falling prey and they are holding out…doing what they can to make a difference in whatever way they can.
If the forces of evil win here on earth as it seems increasingly likely, it’s not the end for those who are not like them or are still searching for their truth…
The earth is just a very tiny speck in this vast universe. And, of this universe has a beautiful place called Earth, surely there will be more lokas that are equally beautiful and bounteous as earth.
Raising our consciousness and helping those around to raise theirs can empower us to leave this domain if it falls into the hands of evil forces.
