Dear Mind,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of health and happiness.
I am writing to you today for a special reason which you will surely understand as you read on.
You have a special reality in the sense that your effect is seen readily but your entity is hard to ascertain. Though you are not the brain is readily acknowledged but yet you are there, like a guardian angel…when you want to be.
In some ways, you are a bridge between me and the body including the brain. You have the ability to listen to a million things and then decide what my body should do, where to go, how to conduct itself and most of all to transmit my sense of peace around my kingdom.
I do have one concern that I must voice before I go on. While I am the real master of this kingdom, as you well know by now, you are sometimes controlled by the impostor, Ego.
Sometimes, you lack the wisdom to choose between my advice and that of the Ego’s and you are led astray. That, you know, brings misery and pain to my kingdom.
Your prime duty is to reflect my sense of peace and joy and radiate it across the length and breadth of my kingdom.
All you need to do is stay focused on me and you can be the harbinger of happy things, good health and sense of well-being, not only across my kingdom but also to others that come in contact with it.
Your role is an important one. When you are at peace, the whole kingdom gets a sense of peace and happiness. Any disturbance in you results in turmoil in the kingdom and all kinds of diseases get hold of the body and its many systems and organs.
Since you are easily distracted and run aimlessly around, wasting your energy on useless pursuits you neglect your prime duty to act as the gatekeeper of what or who enters my kingdom.
I call upon you to stay focused on me and to anchor yourself to breath when you find yourself floundering and feeling lost. This will keep you alert and aware and help you perform your duties with the responsibility that you have.
Please feel free to call whenever you find yourself troubled or lost and I will be glad to support you.
One more thing, please be specially aware of the Ego. It has the cunningness and stealth to enter from right under your nose. And, you know very well how it can sabotage the smooth functioning and peace of my kingdom of which you are the general-in-chief.
You know, the Ego can not only sabotage the kingdom but even take control over you and bring the kingdom to ruin in minutes if not moments.
I hope you will stay ever vigilant and perform your duties as is expected of you.
